EST's embossed stainless steel metal substrate is coated with a proprietary high temperature rubber material that virtually eliminates leakage when joining two metal surfaces. Rocker cover gaskets are . 020" thick and have . 005" of high temperature rubber on both sides. They will not weep, extrude, tear or become brittle over time.
