The 2CV was the reply to the wishes of the Citron Chairman who requested 4 wheels under an umbrella which loaded with eggs, can cross a ploughed field, without breaking a single egg. Thats exactly what he did one day in front of the cameras! So successful was this car that the delivery period reached 6 years in 1950.
