Five mana is a lot for a mana rock, but giving 3 mana (that you can use right away) is still really good, even with the power creep of recent times

It shoots three targets for X damage and needs a legendary dork or walker of the planes to be cast, and it's also a great finisher since you can shoot each foe for 8000 damage too with infinite mana or just enough to finish them all late

It's still one of the best MTG Commanders there is - partly because of its ability to proliferate after each of your turns
