This isnt too expensive when you consider the other cards in Arabian Nights (Shahrazad, Bazaar of Baghdad, and Juzm Djinn are all present in this set as well), but it does top the list of basics more generally

To be clear, Im only ranking cards that exile cards and let you cast them later, with or without paying their mana cost

Prevent all damage that would be dealt to it this turn

The process has evolved quite a bit since then and now there are plenty of resources, websites, and communities that are so useful I dont know how I ever built decks without them

The cost reduction allows for some explosive things and can be very broken but it is far less consistently useful
