Traditionally, cards that cost two mana, have a 2/2 statline, and have little-to-no relevant rules text are called "bears." That name is in honor of Grizzly Bears, an Alpha creature that was a 1G 2/2 with no additional abilities
I like that the card represents the hero arriving unexpectedly in the nick of time, the way Aragorn does in Lord of the Rings , and every Deus Ex Machina hero in just about any fantasy text, and it executes that flavor annoyingly well
An aggro deck that wins by attacking with creatures should probably be coming in at 30-40 creatures
