The inside of one cheek is stamped "Germano Berg & Co, Sueco" The iron or steel mouthpiece has a dark patina. It has a high port stamped "49". A circular ring hangs from the top of the port. Each cheek is cast in the form of a coiled serpent biting a lion mask A silver plated pontezuela hangs under the bit. This is decorated with a lion's mask and foliage.
