Im still not ultra impressed here, but I think if youve got lots of creatures in a black deck, playing this seems fine

And you are in the color of burn spells like Comet Storm or Jaya's Immolating Inferno or Exsanguinate effects to turn life loss into kills fast along with fast mana makers like Ritual effects in your colors

It helps that the mana can be any combination of colors, while Savage Ventmaw can only make red and green mana when it attacks

Of course, you cant neglect enchantments

With a 4 mana cost, this 2/3 creature really rewards you for getting creatures into play, something that green decks tend to like doing anyway
