This could be really annoying in the sideboard of grindy midrange matchups to ensure you have a mana sink

The second ability is kind of neat, but Im not sure it will come up all that much

It also opens the door to niche synergies where you reuse creatures with activated abilities like Loran of the Third Path or squeeze more value from your mana dorks by casting spells at instant speed

I have my thoughts on this card in Modern/Legacy, but I currently believe the card is just fine for Vintage, given all the other broken stuff that is going on in the format
