Either of the new decks work as an excellent starting point for newcomers, and while the emphasis is on beginners, there are plenty of solid cards included that even veterans may want to scoop them up
The first ability reminded me of an old Thassa, Deep-DwellingThassa, Deep-Dwelling build I had, and that was a deck I loved dearly

With two Lore pips, Beast can easily rack up a ton of Lore by questing, playing a damaging card such as Fire the Canons, then questing again
