Llanyrafon Manor Size:Kirchensaller Harry Masters went on toA Welsh perry pear from Monmouthshire. Round pale green skin with some dark russet. Found in the grounds of Llanyrafon Manor in Cwmbran, it is thought that the cider and perry orchards there were to provide for the farm labourers once housed there, especially during hay making season. A sweet and pleasant perry. Can also be used as an eater. Permission to use photograph by the Welsh Perry and Cider Society is gratefully acknowledged.
