Ceiling Flower Earrings decorate also known as the ThirdThese earrings derive their design from a floral decoration on the ceiling of the No. 12 Breakfast Room at Sir John Soane's Museum. The vaulted ceiling of this room is decorated with a painted design of columbine and honeysuckle twining around a trellis, as if the room were open to the sky like a pergola. Hanging from a brass hook, the stylised floral design consists of two pendant elements, one enamelled blue and one plain brass, that align to create
