The outer strap is 3 4" and the buckle is 3 4". The wider strap is 1. 25" wide. The D ring is positioned in the middle of the collar between the two pieces of leather with a solid brass rivet on either side of it for extra reinforcement. Made with heavy vegetable tanned Wickett and Craig leather. This leather is less stiff than the English Sedgwick. It will stretch a
