Unlike most Seamasters from the era which were automatic, this reference was powered by Omega's uncommon caliber 610 handwound movement. The thinner movement allows for a thinner case than with automatic Seamasters. It measures a little over 34mm in diameter without the crown, just larger then a Rolex Date watch and just less than a couple millimeters smaller than a Rolex
